Frequently asked questions
What is an output minute?
Every minute of every quality produced. A 10-minute video in 4 qualities is 40 output minutes, each at its category's rate (SD, HD, 4K or audio). HLS and DASH share segments: asking for both counts once.
How is live streaming charged?
Per hour on air: only the time with a signal counts, and it comes out of your balance as you stream. If your signal drops and comes back, that gap isn't charged.
What happens if I run out of balance mid-stream?
We warn you and the stream goes on for 10 more minutes so you can top up; then it stops. Channels with no balance can't start a new one.
Does unused balance carry over?
What you top up never expires and works on any service. What is included each month, like the credit and the free hours, renews when the month starts and doesn't carry over.
Do I have to pay a fee?
No. You pay only for what you use, with no commitment. Monthly commitments are optional: they pay off if you process a similar volume every month.
Do I need a card to try it?
No. Create your account and convert your first videos with the free credit every month.
How do I pay?
With prepaid credit that never expires: for now you top it up by bank transfer by writing to us, and very soon by card. Companies can sign a contract with local invoicing.
Does it work for a tender?
Yes. We prepare a package with the volume the tender asks for at a fixed price, with a contract, local invoicing and an SLA. Write to us from the Companies page.
If the rates change, does it affect me?
Not while you stay on your option: whoever has a commitment or a contract keeps the terms they signed up for.
